Highlands Ranch Colorado:
Highlands Ranch is a sprawling development in the southwest corner of the metro area, this small city is home to thousands of single family, condos and new apartment homes. This gorgeous newer development began construction in the early 80’s and building is still going on today.
In 1859, Dad Clark built his homestead on today’s site of Highlands Ranch Golf Club. He decided to try his hand at potato farming and had such an abundant harvest he became known as the “Potato King”. Today, Dad Clark Drive named in his honor is just south of Broadway and C-470 area.
A beautiful family driven community, Highlands Ranch has many restaurants, shops, malls and movie theaters to keep the residents busy and with many community events such as the Holiday House Decorating Contest going on nearly every month it’s a great place to enjoy family life.
